Combating contemporary forms of slavery event

The University of Bristol, UWE and Abolition 200 are amomgst the organistions supporting a free event providing presentations and debate on contemporary slavery. Speakers include:

  • Aidan McQuade – Anti-Slavery International, London
  • Dr Christien van den Anker – University of the West of England
  • Jacqueline Healy – Migrant Rights Centre, Ireland
  • Fernne Brennan – Human Rights Centre, University of Essex
  • Dr Tim Braine – Chief Constable of Gloucestershire
  • Dr Bridget Anderson – Centre on Migration, University of Oxford
