The Commission on Vulnerable Employment held its second full meeting on the 1st May 2007.
The Commission heard evidence from academic and civil society organisations. Representatives attended from Community Links, COMPAS, the National Group on Homeworking, Warwick Business School and the UWE Employment Studies Research Unit.

Personel Today has reported that accroding to a new report the number of workplace disputes ending up in court rose by 25% last year. Employers group the EEF, which mainly represents manufacturers, handled 1,545 tribunal hearings in 2006, compared with 1,227 in 2005.
