Work Programme
The Commission on Vulnerable Employment’s investigations have focused upon the following key questions:
- What is vulnerable employment?
- What is the extent of vulnerable employment in the UK and has it risen?
- What conditions allow vulnerable employment to exist?
- What problems are caused by vulnerable employment?
- What is being done to reduce vulnerable employment and address the problems that it causes?
CoVE has been structured around seven full Commission meetings between early 2007 and 2008, when the final report was published.
In addition to these meetings, a series of four ‘field trips’ across the UK were arranged over the Spring and Summer 2007 for Commissioners to explore vulnerable employment and understand what work is being done around the issue ‘on the ground’.
